In Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, three parents and children were beaten to death with a blunt weapon, and a plastic tank was found in a burnt-out house, according to investigative sources.

A component of kerosene was also detected in the house, and the police are investigating that the suspect attacked the victim and set fire to it.

On the 25th of this month, on the site of a house in Misugidai, Hanno City, American Bishop William Ross Jr. (69) and his wife Izumi Morita (68), who live in this house, are the eldest daughter of the couple and a company employee living in Tokyo. In the murder of Megumi Morita (32), unemployed Atsushi Saito (40), who lives nearby, was arrested and suspected of killing Bishop.

According to the investigation so far, the suspect has refused to make a statement.

At the scene of the incident, a fire broke out on the 1st and 2nd floors of the house, and it is known that the components of kerosene were detected. I learned this from interviews with people involved.

In addition, all three were found lying outside the building, but according to investigators, blood stains were also found inside the building.

Police are investigating that the suspect relentlessly pursued and attacked the victim, and then set fire to the kerosene he had brought with him.
