Possible refund

These swivel chairs pose a “risk of the star base breaking, posing a risk of falls and injury to the user,” IKEA warns in its recall.

To find out if your chair is affected, you can check its batch number, located “under the seat, molded into the material that makes up the chair”.

Users who have one of these chairs at home are invited to stop using it.

They can take it back to an IKEA store and get a refund.

An information number has been set up for customers: 08 00 60 36 06.
