The social movement started on June 28 in the emergency room of the Romans-sur-Isère hospital (Drôme) has come to an end.

Six months after the start of the strike, an agreement was reached between the unions and the management of the establishment, indicated a press release relayed by

Le Dauphiné Libéré

.

The CGT and the CFDT had wanted the working and care conditions.

The unions had warned of the persistent lack of staff and the massive increase in the number of patients.

The protocol signed by the CGT and the CFDT as well as by the management of the hospital provides for the creation of a reception secretary position and the arrival of medical reinforcements.

Six night and day caregivers will also be assigned to the emergency room in Romans-sur-Isère.

The negotiations therefore finally made it possible to find a compromise that the unions described as “more in line with the demands of the staff” while indicating that they remained “vigilant about the implementation of this protocol”.

The management, for its part, described the agreement as “good news” and assured that it was aware of the fragility of the situation.
