Four people, including Masako, the wife of Toshio Akagi (then 54 years old), an employee of the Kinki Local Finance Bureau who committed suicide after being involved in the falsification of the Ministry of Finance's approval documents in the issue surrounding Moritomo Gakuen, are Nobuhisa Sagawa of the Ministry of Finance. In September, the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office was accused of suspicion of creating false official documents against three executives at the time, including the director of the Finance Bureau.



In the accusation letter, former director Sagawa and others were aware that the document actually existed, but they "could not confirm that they possessed it" regarding the request for disclosure of information on the record of negotiations with Moritomo Gakuen. He claimed that he had created a written decision stating the reasons for this.



As a result of the investigation by the Special Investigation Department in response to this, the Special Investigation Department found that there was no evidence that former Director Sagawa and others were aware that the documents remained at the time they approved the request for information disclosure. On the 27th, all three were dismissed due to insufficient suspicion.

Masako Akagi and other accusers "pursue the truth"

The accusers, including Toshio Akagi's wife Masako, have commented that they will seek the truth by appealing to the Public Prosecutor's Examination Board for the non-prosecution of former Financial Bureau Chief Nobuhisa Sagawa and others. increase.
