Since the formalization of their divorce last November, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West share custody of their four children.

On Monday, December 26, the reality TV star opened up on Angie Martinez's podcast about her "difficult" relationship with the rapper, who recently made headlines after making comments anti-Semitic.

After almost ten years of love with Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, no longer supporting the rapper's erratic behavior, has decided to file for divorce.

Since it was pronounced last November, the former spouses share custody of their four children, North (9 years old), Saint (6 years old), Chicago (4 years old) and Psalm (3 years old).

“Co-parenting is difficult”

Kim Kardashian, who has always been very close to her little ones, has a lot of trouble adapting to this new rhythm, as she confided Monday, December 26, in the podcast of Angie Martinez.

"Co-parenting is hard. It's so hard," she admitted with tears in her eyes.

“I have to act as if nothing had happened”

Shared custody of his children with Kanye West is all the more difficult as the rapper regularly makes headlines in the press because of his escapades.

A particularly trying situation for Kim Kardashian, who nevertheless tries hard not to show his emotions to his children.

"When I drive them to school, and they want to listen to their dad's music, no matter what I'm going through, or what's going on in the world, I have to keep smiling and singing with the kids, and act as if nothing had happened. Once I put them down, I can cry a lot," she says.

Despite the attitude of her ex-husband, who recently made anti-Semitic comments and praised Hitler, Kim Kardashian wants her children to be able to have a relationship with their father.

"I had the best of fathers," she says, referring to Robert Kardashian, who died of esophageal cancer in 2003. "I have wonderful memories with him and that's what I want for my children".

Kim Kardashian's kids don't know anything about their dad's mistakes

But, Kim Kardashian does everything to protect them.

She assures him: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm are not aware of their dad's mistakes.

"My children don't know anything. At school, some of my best friends are the teachers, so I know what happens there during recess, during lunch. They tell me what is said there. None of the children never said anything to my children," she explains.

And, it protects them from the outside world by denying them access to social networks.

North can only use TikTok on her mother's phone.

"These are real, heavy, adult things that they're not ready to face. When they are, we'll have these conversations. One day my kids will thank me for not sitting here criticizing their dad."

The reality TV star has only one credo: to protect the innocence of her children, "to the end of the Earth and as long as I can", she concludes.
