On the 25th, in a case where three parents and a child were found murdered on the site of a house in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, investigators were informed that an axe-like object had been seized from the suspect's home. I got it from the interview.

Police have also seized several other blunt weapons and will continue to identify the murder weapon.

Bishop William Ross, Jr. (69), his wife Izumi Morita (68), an American national living in this house on the site of a house in Misugidai, Hanno City, and the couple's eldest daughter, a company living in Tokyo, on the 25th. Megumi Morita, 32, was found dead after being beaten to the head with a blunt instrument.

In this case, unemployed Atsushi Saito (40), who lives nearby, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of Bishop.

He has refused to say that he "doesn't want to say" in response to the investigation so far.

The police are investigating the details of the incident, but it was newly found by interviews with investigators that something like an ax was found in the suspect's home.

Several other blunt weapons were seized from his home, and the police are proceeding with the identification of the murder weapon.

In addition, although a fire broke out in the house at the scene, a subsequent investigation revealed that a component of kerosene was detected in the room.

Police are investigating the possibility that the house was set on fire before and after the incident.
