In Tunisia, the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah ends on Monday.

It commemorates an important historical event in Jewish tradition, the return of the temple in Jerusalem to Hebrew tradition in the second century BC.

In Tunisia, if the Jewish community has grown from nearly 100,000 people in the 1950s to a few thousand today, many are fighting to preserve the religious and cultural heritage, their traditions and rituals.
