An event was held in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo, where toys that were no longer used at home were packed into lucky bags and presented to children at Christmas.

This event was held for three days until the 25th by a facility in Itabashi Ward, which is working on garbage reduction and recycling awareness.

At this facility, we regularly receive clothes and toys that are no longer used at home from residents and make efforts to reuse them, and this year we prepared lucky bags for 150 people for Christmas.

In the lucky bag, there were multiple toys such as stuffed animals and kendama, which were presented to children who visited along with Christmas tree decorations.

Among them, there were children who immediately took out toys from the lucky bags and played happily.

One of the boys who received it said, "My favorite toy is a dinosaur figure. I'm happy."

Seiji Goda, director of Itabashi Ward's Recycle Plaza, said, "Through this event, I want people to know that reusable toys are enough to play with, and I hope it will lead to the reduction of garbage throughout society."
