On the 24th of Christmas Eve, at a theme park in Shirahama, Wakayama Prefecture, a giant panda was given a Christmas wreath made by arranging ice cubes.

At the theme park "Adventure World" in Shirahama, Wakayama Prefecture, seven giant pandas are bred, and the facility gives presents to the pandas every Christmas.

Kaedehama, a 2-year-old female, was presented with a 2-meter-diameter Christmas wreath made of ice in the shape of maple leaves, cherry blossoms, ribbons, etc., named after the seven pandas. .

Giant pandas that live in high altitude areas are strong against the cold, so while the cold wind was blowing, "Kaedehama" was approaching and sniffing, lying down and playing.

She especially liked the maple-leaf-shaped ice, which was named after her, and she held it with care.

Toru Miyashita, a breeding staff, said, "I wanted the pandas to have a special day on Christmas Eve, so I prepared it. Each panda has a different reaction, but Kaedehama likes ice. I'm glad you played," he said.
