[Explanation] Recently, all 2,594 fever clinics in various community health service institutions in Shanghai have been opened.

What is the status of community fever clinics?

On December 22, the reporter visited the fever sentinel clinic of the community health service center in Taopu Town, Putuo, Shanghai.

The reporter saw at the scene that a shunt channel was set up at the entrance of the health service center, and patients with fever went directly to the fever clinic, and ordinary patients could also see a doctor normally.

Su Yi, deputy director of the Taopu Community Health Service Center, said that the number of fever patients has increased significantly in the past few days, and many medical staff have become "positive".

Now basically 1-2 boxes of medicines are prescribed every day.

There were relatively few people last week, basically only a dozen or so a day, in the hot sentinel.

Since this week, the number of people has increased every day on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. There were less than 100 people on Monday, 153 people on Tuesday, and 214 people yesterday.

[Explanation] In order to better receive fever patients, the fever sentinel has opened 2 consultation rooms, equipped with sufficient manpower: the staffing has increased from 1 doctor and 1 nurse to 2 doctors, 2 nurses and 1 toll collector. It can complete the whole process of registration, consultation, prescription and payment.

What's more, two groups of people are reserved, which are also 2 doctors and 2 nurses, in order to cope (peak period).

As you have seen before, there are now 2 workstations in our consulting room, and 4 workstations can be placed at most.

[Explanation] Mr. Zang, a Shanghai citizen who came to see a doctor, said that he had a high fever once yesterday, and he ran out of antipyretic medicine at home. He saw on the Internet that the community health center near his home could also prescribe antipyretic medicine, so he came to try it. , "The process is very convenient".

[Concurrent] Mr. Zang, a citizen of Shanghai

I still feel a little uncomfortable today, so I’ll just come here and get some ibuprofen to eat, I’m afraid I’ll have a fever again today, it feels very convenient, so I’ll register with my medical insurance card, and then take it here Medicine is fine.

[Explanation] In addition to diverting patients with mild symptoms at fever sentinel points, doctors also need to identify key groups that need to be referred for treatment in a timely manner, and transfer them to higher-level hospitals as soon as possible.

Su Yi said that every incoming patient will be evaluated, including testing finger oxygen saturation data.

[Concurrent] Su Yi, deputy director of Taopu Town Community Health Service Center

The most important thing for us to do is to identify severe cases, because if the finger pulse oxygen is lower than 90, we still recommend that he go to a higher-level hospital for further diagnosis and treatment.

[Explanation] Is there a shortage of medicines in community clinics?

Su Yi said that the stockpile of antipyretic, cough, antibacterial, and antiviral drugs in the outpatient clinic is not bad, which can basically meet the needs of community residents.

At the same time, the outpatient clinic also unpacks and repacks the medicines, and doctors can prescribe the dosage within three days, such as 6 tablets of ibuprofen for patients with fever, to meet the needs of citizens for medicines.

At present, there are 71 fever clinics in Putuo District, and the hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system is being carried out in an orderly manner in Shanghai.

The Shanghai Municipal Health Commission stated that it is shifting fever diagnosis and treatment medicines to the community to meet the needs of residents for fever diagnosis and treatment.
