It turned out that a resident doctor working at a hospital in Aichi Prefecture had taken the patient in an ambulance to another hospital, and then sent him to the area around the station for a private reason.

The trainee was outside working hours, but the hospital commented, ``I'm sorry for the inconvenience.''

According to the Konan City Fire Department, on the 16th of this month, when a patient was transferred from Konan Kosei Hospital in Konan City to Aichi Medical University Hospital in Nagakute City by ambulance, he worked at Konan Kosei Hospital. A female trainee in her 20s boarded as an attendant.

According to the fire department, the resident doctor was outside working hours at the time, and after he had finished transporting the patient, he asked the ambulance crew to send him to Nagoya Station, Fushimi, or Fujigaoka for a dinner party with friends. He said that he had obtained permission from the doctor who was his boss.

After this, the ambulance team dropped off the trainee near Fujigaoka Station in Meito Ward, Nagoya City, a little off the way home from the ambulance.

The Gangnam City Fire Department said it was an inappropriate response and will work to prevent recurrence.

On the other hand, according to "Gangnan Kosei Hospital", the resident said, "It is true that I asked you to drop me off in the middle, and I am sorry to cause trouble, including related institutions." We apologize for causing concern and inconvenience," he said.
