On the afternoon of the 20th, at a house in Nakakaigan, Chigasaki City, a company employee, Hiroyuki Shikata (55), who lived in this house, was stabbed to death by a man who visited his house with something like a knife.
After a detailed examination of the body, police found that the cause of death was blood loss due to multiple stabs in the chest and other parts of the body.
According to the investigation so far, the man rang the intercom, attacked Mr. Shikata who came out to the front door, and left, but it took about 10 minutes from ringing the intercom to leaving.
Since the scene is a residential area with narrow alleys and is rarely visited by non-residents, police suspected that he may have been acquainted with Shikata and familiar with the area around the scene. We are also investigating the relationship.
