Dali Yabuyi Township is located in the hinterland of the Taklamakan Desert, more than 200 kilometers north of Yutian County, Hotan Prefecture, Xinjiang.

For a long time, the transportation here is inconvenient, and the way of life here is mainly grazing and simple agricultural planting. It is known as "the last desert village in China".

In order to improve and facilitate people's lives, in 2017, Yutian County built a new Dali Yabuyi new village more than 100 kilometers south of the old Dali Yabuyi village, and organized the villagers to relocate in batches.

Dali Yabuyi New Village is more than 90 kilometers away from Yutian County. It has neat modern residences, schools, health centers, tourist service centers and other facilities to achieve smooth roads, water, electricity, natural gas, and the Internet.

Since then, the Dali Yabuyi people bid farewell to seclusion and lived a modern life.

Nowadays, the new village has also become the only place for self-driving cross-country tourists to go to the old village. The local area provides tourists with services such as consulting guides, route planning, catering and homestays, which not only drives more villagers to employment, but also allows Dali Yabuyi to bid farewell to the occlusion, Get out of the desert.
