The causes of his death have just been revealed by the New York medical examiner's office.

The one who had started her career as a model succumbed to bacterial sepsis.



As a spokesperson for the coroner told People, the star had contracted an infection from a bacteria called Capnocytophaga and, in general, present in dogs.

Although it is rarely transmitted to humans, people with autoimmune diseases or without a spleen are particularly susceptible.

This was the case of Charlbi Dean.

Tragedy

The young woman had been the victim of a “serious car accident” in 2009, from which she came out with serious injuries.

The bones in his back and his ribs had been broken, his condition requiring the removal of the spleen, as his brother had confided at the time of his death to Rolling Stone.

It was this fragility that cost him his life more than ten years later, confirmed the medical examiner, who concluded that his death was an accident.
