We've put together a recap to help you see things more clearly.

Zelensky will be received this Wednesday by Biden at the White House

It's a visit that sounds like a snub for Vladimir Putin.

Volodymyr Zelensky will be received this Wednesday at the White House by Joe Biden before addressing the US Congress, said White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre.

On the occasion of this very first international trip by the Ukrainian president since the start of the war, she announced that the American president would announce “significant” new aid to kyiv, which should notably include a battery of Patriot missiles.

This visit will also coincide with a major military meeting around Vladimir Putin: the Russian president wants to draw the conclusions of the past year on the same day and set the objectives of his army for 2023.

Elon Musk announces he will step down as Twitter CEO

Less than eight weeks after Elon Musk took control of Twitter for $44 billion, the blue bird does not see the storm abating.

Latest twist?

The new owner of the platform announced Tuesday his intention to leave the head of the social network as soon as he has "found someone crazy enough" to replace him, explaining that he will then focus on the "software teams and servers.

Elon Musk reacted to the result of the poll he himself had initiated on Twitter on Monday, asking whether he should retire from the head of the company or not, 57% of the 17 million voters responding in the affirmative.

Failure of the first commercial flight of the Vega-C rocket

This is a setback for Europe in space.

The new European light launcher Vega-C, which was to make its first commercial flight with two Airbus satellites on board, was lost after takeoff from Kourou in Guyana on Tuesday.

Ten minutes after takeoff, at 10:47 p.m., the trajectory of the launcher deviated from that programmed, then the telemetry stopped arriving at the control room of the Space Center.

It is a major failure for the European Space Agency (ESA), responsible for European launcher programs, as global competition rages on the launch market, with the American SpaceX in the lead.

The Ariane 6 rocket is the main engine of the response, but the postponement to the end of 2023 of the inaugural flight initially planned for 2020 has penalized ESA, which has 22 Member States.
