Chinanews.com, Huzhou, December 21st (Hu Fengsheng, Shi Zinan, Yu Ying) In the renovated old factory building, hot coffee and a computer replaced the roaring machine...Recently, the birthplace of Anji white tea in Zhejiang Longxiang gathered a group of young practitioners from all walks of life, including photographers, programmers, and writers. They gave up life in big cities and came to the countryside to experience and transform themselves.

  They are called "digital nomads".

It is understood that "digital nomads" are an emerging group in recent years. They refer to people who rely on the Internet to generate continuous income and whose work is not restricted by geographical conditions and time. Most of them are young people.

"Digital nomads" are mostly engaged in creative work. Whether they are code engineers or text workers, they all form uniqueness because of the creativity of their work, thus enhancing the irreplaceability of work.

The gathering place of these young people is a peculiar building located in Hengshan Natural Village, Xilong Village, Xilong Township——DNA (Digital Nomad Anji, Anji "Digital Nomad" Commune).

It is reported that DNA is jointly built by Xilong Township Government and Shanghai Aijia Group to store an idle bamboo and wood processing plant of about 5,000 square meters in Hengshan Natural Village of the township. It is specially built for "digital nomads" in the way of "micro-renovation and fine-tuning". It is the first comprehensive park in China that integrates collective living, shared office and public services.

"It used to be an abandoned bamboo and wood processing factory, which was very dilapidated. After being collected and stored, most of the original structure was preserved. Through 'embroidery', it has a new look and attracted many young people." Secretary of the Party Committee of Xilong Village Jia Genlin said that more and more talents will move in as one spreads ten, ten spreads one hundred.

At present, DNA can accommodate 82 people for work and living at full capacity, and 72 people have been accommodated.

In order to further increase the carrying capacity of DNA and attract more "digital nomads" to start a business and live in An'an, the Xilong Township government is implementing a DNA capacity expansion and upgrading plan.

"The expansion of the first phase will add 10 artist studios, 20 workstations, and a public space of about 600 square meters, which can accommodate more than 60 people." Zheng Zhiqiang, the project service specialist of Xilong Township, who is actively promoting the plan, said that the first phase of the project will Completion by the end of March 2023.

Today, in Xilong Township, Anji County, in addition to DNA, Anji Creative Design Center, One Leaf Tea, Little White House under the Tree, and White Tea Living Room have opened for business successively.

"The reformed new format of 'franchising' has enhanced the 'hard power' of attracting talents in the countryside." Huang Yun, member of the Party Committee of Xilong Township, said that in the next step, the township will continue to create exclusive young people through "micro-reform and refinement". The characteristic entrepreneurial space makes it a good place for more rural entrepreneurs to realize their dreams.
