Even after nearly three years, Lana Del Rey doesn't seem to have fully come to terms with her split from police officer Sean Larkin.

Instead of promoting her forthcoming album Did You Know That There Is A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd on the usual billboards in New York and Los Angeles, the singer now had one of the billboards installed in Tulsa, Oklahoma - her former partner's hometown

"There's only one billboard, and it's in Tulsa.

It's personal," Del Rey told fans on Instagram on Tuesday.

Larkin met the thirty-seven-year-old, who became known through the title "Video Games", in New York in 2019.

Over the next six months, the couple commuted between Los Angeles, where Del Rey lived, and Tulsa, where the forty-nine-year-old worked as a police officer.

In spring 2020, after a series of red carpet appearances together, Del Rey surprisingly announced their split.

As the lonely billboard with the singer's face in Larkin's hometown suggests, the "busy schedules" cited at the time were probably not the only reason for the end of the relationship.

Lana Del Rey's studio album Did You Know That There's A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, whose debut single of the same name has already been released, has been announced for March 2023.

The American singer became internationally known in 2011 with the song "Video Games".

Did You Know That There's A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd is their ninth album.
