In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's largest city, a test run of the urban railway, which is being developed with support from Japan, was held locally on the 21st.

This urban railway "Line 1" connects about 20 kilometers between the center of Ho Chi Minh City and the suburbs with elevated tracks and subways, and Japan supports it through yen loans from JICA = Japan International Cooperation Agency.
