The Swedish clothing giant H&M announced Tuesday the withdrawal of the sale of a collection signed Justin Bieber after a furious message from the Canadian star claiming not to have agreed to this "junk".

The range put on sale without permission from Justin Bieber

"The H&M merchandising they did with my name on it is junk and I didn't approve of it. Don't buy it," the 28-year-old singer said in an Instagram post.

This range was put on sale "entirely without my permission", he also claimed.

“We have removed the clothes from our stores and online”

Contacted by AFP, H&M announced that it had withdrawn the entire range from sale "out of respect" for the artist.

"As with all other licensed products and partnerships, H&M has followed the appropriate approval procedures," a spokesperson said in an email.

"But out of respect for the collaboration and Justin Bieber we have removed the garments from our stores and online," he added.

H&M has worked for several years with Justin Bieber for products associating his name or his tours.

The range currently on sale included sweaters, T-shirts, phone accessories and a canvas bag.
