[Explanation] On December 19, the 13th National Congress of the China Association for the Promotion of Democracy closed in Beijing.

The conference successfully completed various agenda items and elected a new Central Committee composed of 209 members.

　　[Explanation] During the first plenary meeting of the 15th Central Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party, the 15th Central Standing Committee composed of 47 people was elected. Cai Dafeng was elected chairman, Zhu Yongxin, Zhang Yudong, Wang Gang, Tao Kaiyuan, Pang Lijuan , Huang Zhen, Gao Youdong, Li Malin, Liu Kuanren and He Zhimin were elected as vice chairmen.

　　[Explanation] Cai Dafeng pointed out at the closing meeting of the conference that the comprehensive construction of a socialist modern country has embarked on a new journey, the cause of multi-party cooperation is facing new developments, and the construction of participating parties is facing new requirements.

At this important moment of inheriting the past and ushering in the future, the new Central Committee and the leadership team shoulder the great trust of the organization and have won the trust of everyone. They deeply feel the glorious mission and great responsibility.
