"Singing, reciting and playing" immersion in learning opera
There are many kinds of Chinese operas. There are more than 360 kinds of operas in various regions, and there are tens of thousands of traditional operas.
In Jinan, in addition to Peking Opera, Lv Opera and other operas that are familiar to the public, there are also small operas such as Wuyin Opera, Zhangqiu Bangzi, and Wangpi Opera. joys and sorrows.
Zhangqiu Bangzi, also known as "Shandong Roar" and "Zhangqiu Ou", originated from Shanshan Bangzi. Later, its singing was combined with Zhangqiu Yangge, folk music, and dialect to form a new type of opera with characteristics. It is an ancient opera in Shandong Province. One of the types of Chinese opera, it has a history of more than 500 years. In 2006, it was approved by the Shandong Provincial People's Government to be included in the first batch of Shandong Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
In the latest episode of "On the Field of Hope", the "Field Recommendation Officer" composed of Zou Dejiang, Wu Sijia, Tao Siyuan, and Man Yutong received a new task. They came to Shixia Village, the birthplace of Zhangqiu Bangzi. The reality show shows the characteristics and charm of Zhangqiu Bangzi, and assists Yu Liangxing, the tenth generation inheritor of Zhangqiu Bangzi and the head of the Zhangqiu Bangzi Troupe, to complete the opera performance and promote this ancient intangible cultural heritage opera.
The threshold of opera itself is high, and Zhangqiu Bangzi originated from the folk, with high-pitched and upright singing, with strong dialect characteristics, which is even more difficult for "field recommendation officers" who have not lived in the local area.
After a group of people found Yu Liangxing, they began to rehearse "The General of the Yang Family", and there was no shortage of basic training. The routines such as running around the field, squatting on horses, and riding on horses were regular and strict, and everyone followed suit; The requirements are higher, and the high-pitched opera, the tactful tunes, and the libretto with dialect characteristics are all challenges.
When learning opera, Man Yutong sang the line "Use your eyes right away" dozens of times, and the tunes she couldn't always practice made her cry in embarrassment; Record and practice repeatedly.
Before going on stage, Wu Sijia experienced "stretching the head" for the first time. Putting on a costume that weighed more than ten kilograms, she said that it was like wearing a "golden hoop" on her head. She was so painful that she burst into tears; among the crowd, only Zou Dejiang With decades of solid folk art foundation, he can play the role of "Han Chang" with ease, and the sound of his voice on the stage attracted bursts of applause.

Emotional sincerity sees inheritance
"On the Field of Hope" not only allows guests to immerse themselves in learning singing, reading, fighting, hand-eye and body skills, but also shows the characteristics and charm of Zhangqiu Bangzi, and pays more attention to digging out the story of inheritance and development behind this intangible cultural heritage opera.
The ancient stage at the east end of Shixia Village is almost as old as Zhangqiu Bangzi.
It is understood that there were more than 130 operas in Zhangqiu Bangzi when it was prosperous, from the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period to the Qing Dynasty, but these operas were only passed on by word of mouth, and many of them have been lost.
Yu Liangxing is 46 years old this year. He learned Zhangqiu bangzi from his grandfather when he was young, and became obsessed with that side of the stage. When he was a child, there were hundreds of opera singers in the village.
After growing up, Yu Liangxing left home to work hard, and those old and familiar bang tunes gradually faded away. More and more people went out in the village, and fewer and fewer people could sing.
In 2011, Yu Liangxing decided to return to his hometown to take on the heavy responsibility of inheritance. He sang and passed on operas and established a troupe.
In order to better inherit and develop, Shixia Village has prepared to build the Zhangqiu Bangzi Opera Museum since 2019, displaying the historical origin, inheritance and development of Zhangqiu Bangzi, precious costumes and crowns, and information on local drama celebrities; Yu Liang Xing and others sorted out the scripts of Zhangqiu Bangzi, and now more than 40 plays have been compiled into volumes, and this ancient opera is promoted through artistic performances.
Since 2019, Yu Liangxing and others have continued to try to combine Zhangqiu clappers with tourism, and have launched activities such as the "Folk Festival for Half a Year" and "Rural Revitalization Drama Festival".
