[Explanation] Recently, the demand for Lianhua Qingwen Capsules has been relatively high among the public, and various "Li Gui" have also quietly appeared.

On many online shopping and food delivery platforms, as long as you enter "Lotus Qingwen Tea", a large number of sales pages for related products will appear, and some monthly sales even reach tens of thousands.

[Explanation] The reporter randomly clicked to enter the details page of a product, and found that the outer packaging was very similar to Lianhua Qingwen Capsules, and the concepts of "medicine and food of the same origin", "substitute tea" and "plant herbs" were also marked in large characters.

[Explanation] The reporter consulted the customer service as a buyer. The customer service claimed that this is a derivative of Lianhua Qingwen Capsules, which can relieve the symptoms of the new crown, and can be taken by the elderly and children for a long time.

Is this really true?

Experts in traditional Chinese medicine said that these products are not medicines, and they do not have the effect of preventing new crowns, increasing immunity or curing diseases.

[Concurrent] Liu Cheng, deputy chief physician of the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital

It does not count as health supplements, and it is definitely not suitable for long-term drinking.

Lianhua Qingwen (capsule) is a national authorized drug, approved by the state.

He himself may just find a few ingredients in Lianhua Qingwen (capsules).

The ingredients of the species, including dosage, have not undergone strict verification, strict approval or strict doctor's identification, and there are actually great hidden dangers in it.

[Explanation] The reporter combed and found that the ingredients of these teas are mostly honeysuckle, forsythia leaves, almonds, ageratum, mint, lily, lotus seeds, etc.

Liu Cheng said that these ingredients are not suitable for everyone, and may also cause other problems such as diarrhea.

  For example, almonds.

Although we can use it after special processing, if you directly take a core, it is actually poisonous, and some will be poisoned.

According to my opinion, most of the (ingredients) are cold medicines. Some people have cold constitutions and may experience diarrhea or other discomforts after using them.

[Explanation] Liu Cheng suggested that when people get sick, they should prescribe the right medicine, find a regular medical institution to prescribe traditional Chinese medicine, or buy and take it according to the list of recommended medicines issued by the National Health and Medical Commission.

For example, if you have a dry throat, you can soak some lemon or orange peel and drink some tea.

Stomach ulcers or frequent stomach pains, these people can only drink black tea, not green tea and scented tea.

For the elderly and children, boil white radish and drink some water.

Now many of our hospitals have also opened Internet outpatient clinics, where you can consult.
