  Liuqin Opera, formerly known as Lahunqiang, originated in the southern Shandong area in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, and mainly spread in the border areas of Shandong, Jiangsu, Anhui, and Henan.

Its music is in the style of banqiang, with a little folk song style, and the accompaniment is mainly Liuyeqin, which has vivid regional characteristics and a strong sense of life.

In 2006, Liuqin Opera was declared by Zaozhuang and approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.

  In 1985, Shao Xiaohuan, who lives in Jiangsu, was admitted to the Zaozhuang Youth Experimental Liuqin Troupe.

When she was young, she followed her parents into the Liuqin Opera Troupe. Under the influence of her parents, and her parents also worked in Zaozhuang, she regarded it as her second hometown.

In the process of concentrating on Liuqin opera, the operas she sang have brought changes to many audiences and families, which also injected infinite motivation into her career.

  "My daughter-in-law sings so well. After listening to your play last time, my daughter-in-law treats me very well now."

Shao Xiaohuan recalled to the reporter that once when she was singing in the country, she was caught and praised by an old man just after she got off the stage.

In her opinion, acting the stories of ordinary people, singing about people and things around her, reflecting the main theme of society, and opera can make the audience's families more harmonious and happy, which is why she loves Liuqin opera even more.

  Due to his serious and hard work, Shao Xiaohuan's large-scale Liuqin opera "Mountain Village Drums" and "Mother's Call" and other plays have been selected into the "Five Ones" boutique project of Shandong Province for 10 times.

At the same time, she has won first prizes for individual performances in different awards across the country for many large-scale Liuqin operas such as "Sister-in-law of the Donkey King", "Sister in the City and Country Man", and "Thick Soil".

  In the 1990s, when the opera market was going downhill, seeing the certificates exchanged with sweat, Shao Xiaohuan did not forget his original intention and was not afraid of poverty, and still worked hard to study the business.

Her innovative Liuqin dramas combining ancient and modern times have been loved by the audience time and time again.

As for the future promotion and development of Liuqin Opera, she realized that she should start with dolls.

  Since 2005, Shao Xiaohuan has taught Liuqin Opera in many schools in Zaozhuang.

In 2006, she was rated as the fourth-generation inheritor of Shandong Provincial Liuqin Opera, and then formally established the Liuqin Opera Inheritance Education Base of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Project in Zaozhuang No. 15 Middle School, and established Liuqin Opera in Donghu Primary School, Shizhong District teaching base.

She regularly visits the school free of charge to teach Liuqin opera knowledge and performing arts, and has led more than 100 students to learn Liuqin opera.

  Shao Xiaohuan told reporters that many of the first batch of students she trained have been admitted to the drama classes of cultural and art schools in Jiangsu Province and Yantai City, and the second batch of students have been able to perform on stage.

In the Liuqin Opera teaching base of Zaozhuang Mass Art Museum and other Zhuanghu theater troupes, she personally taught and tutored more than 300 Liuqin opera students, and directly and indirectly benefited more than 2,000 people.
