Around 11:00 am on the 17th, Shigemi Chonan (66), a carpenter from Minamiyama, Okura Village, accidentally fell down while trying to climb onto the roof of a garage in Izumida, Shinjo City, Yamagata Prefecture.



Chonan was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Shinjo City, but according to the police, she suffered a serious injury that broke her ribs.



According to police, Chonan tried to climb onto the roof from a 3.6-meter ladder, but lost her balance and fell.



Due to the winter-type atmospheric pressure distribution, there was a large amount of snow in Shinjo City this week.
