This is Cantacuzino Castle, located in the city of Bușteni, Romania.
not really gothic
Cantacuzino Castle was built in 1911 for Prince Gheorge Grigore Cantacuzino who served as Romania's prime minister twice at the very beginning of the 20th century.
A palace which is therefore not very Gothic in origin, even if its stained glass windows, its painted ceilings and its solid wood furniture give it a romantic charm that Tim Burton and his teams have been able to exploit to make this atmosphere so special.
