In response to the bid-rigging incident related to the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic test competitions, the JOC (Japan Olympic Committee) has decided to clarify future issues, such as how to interact with advertising agencies. Indicated a policy to conduct an investigation.

The Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Special Investigation Department and the Japan Fair Trade Commission are investigating suspicion of violating the Antimonopoly Act, on the suspicion of collusion between vendors regarding the bidding for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics test competition.

Under these circumstances, the JOC held a meeting of sports association executives in Tokyo on the 16th, in order to grasp the actual situation and identify future issues. I indicated the policy to conduct an investigation.

It is said that the details of the survey method have not yet been decided, but since the scale of the tournaments operated by each sports organization and the relationship with advertising agencies are different, we will interview them individually. I think we are moving forward with the investigation.
