The specialist and founder of The Lighthouse Arabia, Dr. Saliha Afridi, said: “The danger of cyberbullying for people lies in the fact that its harm reaches the person even when he is at home. Skip it as soon as you get home.”

Social bullying is one of the most prominent types of bullying that psychologically affects the person exposed to it because it feels ignored and excluded, as it is one of the most common types of bullying among girls.

Bullying is also widespread in different workplaces, where many people are exposed to “occupational bullying”, but they may not realize that it is bullying because the methods of bullying in the workplace differ from those used by bullies in other places, and this appears in different behaviors that include accusation. By falsely accusing someone of mistakes they did not make, or belittling the person or their feelings in meetings, and asking someone for unrealistic tasks, according to the Workplace Bullying Institute website.

Experts advise confronting bullies and pointing out the existence of harassment, whether in school, the work environment, or on social media, and informing others. They also stressed the importance of indicating the existence of this harassment and trying to solve it, as silence is considered an encouragement to the bully and a strong motivation to continue with it, but these methods may differ according to the environment. Where school or work rules must be adhered to at times, which constitutes another pressure on the victim.

Specialists advise people who are subjected to bullying to confront them, as the bully often relies on the victim's inability to confront and engage in direct confrontation with him, which leads to continuing bullying.
