• Music Prosecutors investigate fiasco in Ticketmaster ticket sales for Taylor Swift tour

Thousands of attendees at the concert of reggaeton singer

Bad Bunny

in

Mexico City

could not enter the

Azteca stadium

this Friday for the first of his two concerts there due to

problems with cloning or duplicating their tickets

.

The fans who could not enter the venue because their tickets were withheld have blamed Ticketmaster

,

which in recent months has been singled out for this type of practice at concerts by artists such as Dua Lippa, Harry Styles or Daddy Yankee.

Faced with this situation, the head of the Federal Consumer Attorney (Profeso) of Mexico,

Ricardo Sheffield

, has said on social networks that the institution "already requested a report from Ticketmaster about the problem with the access tickets to the Bad Bunny concert in the Aztec Stadium.

In addition, he asked "affected consumers to formalize their complaints to address them in accordance with the law."

The Azteca stadium also issued a statement in which it ruled on the duplication and falsification of tickets for the concert, after users outside the stadium and on social networks denounced that they were not allowed to enter the concert.

But in his note, the stadium, although it accepted the foul, disassociated itself from the problems with the passes.

The stadium organization reported that Ticketmaster workers were warned about the counterfeiting of tickets for the event, "a situation that is totally alien" to the venue.

In addition, he said that for the safety of the attendees "these accesses were canceled" and urged those affected to file their complaints directly with Ticketmaster.

The stadium was

prepared to receive some 80,000 people

but given the duplicity of tickets, the entrance was greatly reduced.

Those affected remained outside the Azteca stadium to demand a solution and

hundreds tried to enter by force due

to their discomfort over the situation.

Tickets for the

two Bad Bunny concerts in Mexico City

sold out on February 10 when they went on sale.

In resale they reached 10,000 pesos, about 480 euros.
