Prime Minister Denys Chmyhal says that despite repeated Russian attacks on its infrastructure, Ukraine will weather the winter.

For him, the lack of gas, oil and electricity will not prevent the Ukrainians from winning the war. 

Asked about the strikes carried out on Russian soil in recent days, the head of the Ukrainian government says that Ukraine is only looking to defend its territory and recover areas lost since 2014. He concedes that he is concerned about a potential use of nuclear weapons by Moscow.

However, he recalls that many countries have firmly warned the Russians about such recourse.

Denys Chmyhal urges the West to send new air defense weapons and tanks to help Ukraine better defend itself.

He also recalls that Russia continues to bomb the area surrounding the Zaporizhia nuclear power station, stressing that the explosion of this power station could reproduce the Chernobyl disaster, with consequences throughout Europe.
