According to the Metropolitan Police Department, on the 20th of last month, a fire was set inside a manhole for inspecting underground communication equipment in Hongoku-cho, Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, and the NTT communication cable inside was burned. Suspicion of obstruction of business.



No one was injured in the fire, but six cables for fixed telephones and the Internet in the basement were burned, and communication failures occurred on the surrounding 180 lines for about 16 hours.



A gas cylinder for a cassette stove and something like solid fuel were found at the scene and its surroundings, and the police department filled the manhole with gas because the suspect was squatting down on the security camera. After letting it, it is suspected that it was set on fire, and it is being investigated.



In response to the investigation, he denied the charges, saying, "I don't remember."
