Jordan: He put 20,000 dinars in "garbage" and called the municipality for help

An official in a "shopping center" in Jordan put a huge amount of money in the waste container by mistake, but the municipality's efforts managed to recover it within one hour.

And in the details, the head of the accounting department in one of the malls in the Jordanian capital called for help to the Cleaning Division of the Amman Municipality, saying that the cleaning lady had mistakenly placed a black bag containing an amount of 20 thousand dinars (more than 28 thousand dollars) in the waste container, thinking It's a trash bag.

As a matter of urgency, the municipality contacted the driver of the mill that transported the waste from the mall, so that it would not reach the landfill, and then the process of finding the amount would become almost impossible.

The entire load of the mill, which amounts to nine tons of waste, was unloaded in a popular market yard (the Saturday market in Qweismeh), where three municipal cleaners searched and excavated, in the presence of the mall owner, his employees, and a security force.

The painstaking search for the bag of money paid off after about half an hour of work. The owner of the mall received the money and gave the cleaner a reward of 10 dinars ($14).
