Regarding the former Unification Church, we collected signatures on the Internet asking former members to request a "dissolution order" based on the Religious Corporation Law, and submitted them to the Agency for Cultural Affairs on the 9th.

Those who visited the Agency for Cultural Affairs were former members of the former Unification Church, groups that support their families, and journalists. I handed the person in charge of the Religious Affairs Division a signature and a letter addressed to the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

Signatures were accepted on the Internet from mid-October, and in less than two months, more than 204,000 signatures were collected.

In addition, in the petition,

▽ In addition to the fact that the damage surrounding the former Unification Church is serious and still continuing,

▽ It was wrong that the government did not deal with the problem, and it should be corrected promptly.

I am asking the court to request a dissolution order.

At a press conference, a former Nisei believer said, "Considering how long I've been unable to raise my voice, I'm grateful that so many people have supported me. I believe that this time, I will take a firm response so that it will not come out and the same thing will not be repeated."

We plan to continue online signature activities in the future, and are considering sending a letter of application to Prime Minister Kishida and others.
