Laeticia Hallyday plays the card of sincerity.

In the documentary

Johnny by Laeticia,

broadcast Thursday evening on M6, Johnny's widow confides with an open heart about her life as a couple with the Taulier, punctuated with great happiness but also marked by harsh trials.

"I helped him a lot to put some hierarchy in his friends"

Laeticia indeed had to manage the “demons” of her husband, who liked to self-destruct to better rise from his ashes.

During her 23 years of marriage to Johnny, the mother of Jade and Joy was totally involved in the life of the rocker.

Many criticized him for having made a "sorting" in his friends.

Rumors to which she responds in the documentary.

Yes, Laeticia did clean up Johnny's entourage.

And, she accepts it.

"He needed to have a yard around him, which has diminished. Over time, he put hierarchy in his friends. I helped him a lot (...) He said: 'I don't I don't have a lot of friends. I'm very surrounded, but I don't have a lot of friends'!", she confides in front of the camera.

"Johnny was a bit of a coward to say he was disappointed or felt betrayed"

Laeticia explains that she did this for the good of her husband who was not “very brave” when it came to telling the truth to his friends.

"He was a bit cowardly to say when he was disappointed or felt betrayed by his entourage or collaborators", underlines Laeticia.

"He didn't have the courage to tell them why."

The Taulier's wife helped him to express his disappointments, to distance himself from certain relatives who had betrayed him.

"She cleaned up with some people and I think that was a good thing. It's very curious for a kid to have such an influence. She was more and more interested in her career, she has a lot worked with the record company. She took a lot of initiatives", analyzes the producer and friend of Johnny Jean-Claude Camus.

Laeticia, meanwhile, sweeps away the accusations of some fans, who accused her of wanting to isolate Johnny.

She assumes to have made this selection in her friends, but only out of love, and not out of interest.

"It was a choice that was really essential for this couple to hold. Obviously at some point, we had to find a culprit and that was me. It's like that, I always accepted criticism, I I'm used to the press. I let it slip with a lot of indifference", assures the widow of the rocker, who took advantage of the documentary on his intimacy with Johnny to restore certain truths…
