  This guideline is used to help and guide the self-health management of novel coronavirus positive infection patients (including nucleic acid positive or antigen positive, hereinafter referred to as positive infection) during home recovery.

When you are notified that the nucleic acid test of the new coronavirus is positive or the nucleic acid antigen of the self-test is positive, please do not panic or be afraid, read this guide carefully and follow it, and be the first person responsible for your own health.

  1. Instructions for daily life

  (1) During the period of recovery at home, positive infected patients should strictly not go out, and all visits are declined.

The co-residents should take good personal protection and abide by the management requirements for home isolation and rehabilitation.

  (2) Positive infected persons live alone in a well-ventilated room.

Clothes, bed sheets, towels and other supplies are stored separately from others and washed separately.

Use utensils individually.

The room is equipped with personal protective equipment such as thermometers, paper towels, masks, disposable gloves, and disinfectants, as well as anti-epidemic materials such as disinfection products and trash cans with lids.

  (3) Positive infected persons should wear N95 masks when entering public areas at home.

When people who live with positive infections come into contact with them, or when handling their pollutants and contaminated surfaces, they should take good care of themselves, wear N95 masks and disposable gloves, keep a distance of more than 1 meter from them, and perform good hand hygiene.

  (4) Each room should close the door and open the window independently for ventilation. The room should be ventilated by opening the window at least once a day in the morning and afternoon, each time for more than 30 minutes.

The central air conditioner should turn off the return air and operate according to the fresh air mode.

Windows should be opened for ventilation in the bathroom, or exhaust equipment should be turned on for ventilation.

Wet cleaning of the room should be carried out at least once a day.

  (5) Restrooms must be cleaned and disinfected daily.

When flushing the toilet, close the toilet lid first and then flush.

The dry and wet floor drains in the bathroom and kitchen need to be filled with water regularly every day. After the water is filled, the lid should be covered, and then the floor drain should be pressed with a plastic bag filled with water, or sealed with a silicone pad.

  (6) Household garbage should be disposed of properly. Every time you clean up the garbage, put it in a double-layer plastic bag and tie the bag tightly to avoid spillage.   (7) Except for daily necessities and medicines, try not to order other express delivery.

  2. Self-health management

  (1) Patients with Omicron mutant strains are mainly asymptomatic infections and mild cases, and most of them do not require excessive treatment. Ordinary patients can observe and treat at home, pay attention to bed rest, strengthen supportive treatment, and ensure sufficient energy and nutritional intake. enter.

Pay attention to water and electrolyte balance to maintain a stable internal environment.

  (2) Positive infected persons and their co-residents should monitor their body temperature and condition changes daily. If symptoms of respiratory tract infection or existing underlying diseases are significantly aggravated, they should be treated according to the condition or seek medical treatment in time.

  (3) Health monitoring should be strengthened during the recovery period of positive infected persons at home. On the 6th and 7th day of isolation, two consecutive nucleic acid tests with a Ct value of ≥ 35 should be released from isolation.

  3. Self-medical service

  (1) Common symptoms of positive infection include fever, dry cough, fatigue, loss of sense of smell and taste, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, conjunctivitis, myalgia, and diarrhea.

According to the clinical experience of experts, after ordinary young and middle-aged patients are infected with the new coronavirus, the course of the disease is about 7 days.

Some elderly people, especially those over 70 years old with underlying diseases, have a more complicated course of disease.

  (2) Based on the opinions of clinical experts, symptomatic treatment is mostly used for viral infections, and the role of drugs is mainly to relieve symptoms. It is recommended to use symptomatic drugs at the initial stage of symptoms.
