In Albi, in Occitanie, the sixth edition of the Ugly Christmas Sweater Championship was held on December 3, 2022.
An opportunity for all lovers of woolen or knitted sweaters to get together and share their creativity… often unbridled!

Others show off equally original sweaters, such as one on the theme of the advent calendar: "It's very nice to see people come alive when they see it, they smile and it brings us back some sunshine", s enthuses its creator.

The idea for this contest arose during a New Year's Eve: "we had a friend who wore an ugly sweater and who scratched, so we told him - with a little nudge in the nose - that he could participate in the championship of ugly sweater… And bingo!
We created the event and this is the sixth edition this year”, explains Julie, organizer of the championship.
