China News Service, Changchun, December 6 (Reporter Guo Jia) The 139th hematopoietic stem cell donor in Jilin Province was successfully collected on the 6th at the First Hospital of Jilin University.

This hematopoietic stem cell will bring hope to a 10-year-old girl and continue her dream of dancing.

This time the donor of hematopoietic stem cells is "post-00s" Wei Shaozhi. When he participated in the voluntary blood donation activity at school a year ago, he took the initiative to keep samples and join the China Bone Marrow Bank.

Unexpectedly, just after graduating from university, he was notified that the matching was successful.

He immediately agreed to donate and actively cooperated with the follow-up work.

On the eve of the donation, Wei Shaozhi received a letter of thanks from the donated patient through the Jilin Branch of the China Bone Marrow Bank.

"Because of your presence, I no longer need to write a leave note and go to the hospital, I can learn the dance I like." The words are full of the little patient's gratitude for his kind deeds and yearning for a better future.

In order to allow Wei Shaozhi to save lives with peace of mind and complete the donation smoothly, his unit gave great support and granted half a month of paid leave.

After finishing the donation, Wei Shaozhi sat by the bed and wrote back to the little patient.

"It's winter, I hope that when spring comes, you can embrace the bright spring, hold the warmest wind, and dance your favorite dance."

The Jilin branch of the Chinese Bone Marrow Bank was established in 2003 and is affiliated to the Jilin Red Cross Society.

Currently, the Jilin branch of the China Bone Marrow Bank has about 63,000 volunteers' typing data.

It is understood that in recent years, "post-00s" donation volunteers are increasing.
