Dubai Culture launches its winter camps in Al Shindagha and Al Ittihad

The Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai (Dubai Culture) is launching its winter camps, which it is organizing this December at the “Al Ittihad” and “Al Shindagha” museums. The first will be held from the 12th to the 16th of December, while the second will be held from the 19th to the 23rd of the same month, and it will be full of recreational activities designed specifically to discover the abilities and talents of children.

With an agenda rich in knowledge and entertainment, Dubai Culture opens the doors of its winter camps to children, affirming through it its support for the “The Most Beautiful Winter in the World” initiative, which in its third session raises the slogan “Our Heritage”, which is in harmony with its spirit and details with the activities and activities of the camps, in which children walk on The paths of the ancestors, and discover the features of life and the aesthetics of the history of Dubai and the Emirates.

Mona Faisal Al Gurg, Executive Director of the Culture and Heritage Sector at Dubai Culture, confirmed that investing children's time in fun knowledge activities enhances their creativity and mental abilities, saying: "Winter camps help attract talents and discover children's capabilities, which falls within the scope of the commitments of ( Dubai Culture) that aims to improve the culture of young people and their life skills by teaching them different methods that motivate them to innovate, which enhances the creative environment that the Authority seeks to create in the Emirate of Dubai.

During the winter camp hosted by the Shindagha Museum, the children will go on a beautiful journey during which they will follow in the footsteps of their ancestors, stopping at several stations that will open their eyes to methods of extracting pearls from oysters, and learn about the methods of making “gargoor”.
