An innovative prosthesis that may restore mobility to many patients

Recently unveiled a new suit, dubbed “Exoplus Molly”, which proved its ability in the first experiments to improve the conditions of patients with cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis (MS), or strokes, who suffer from severe difficulties in movement, as it relieved their pain. It has improved their ability to walk and even changed the lives of some of them.

According to what was published by the Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Qabas, on the BBC network, that the suit contains 58 electrodes, explaining that when the patient wears it and operates it for an hour, light electrical impulses are sent to the muscles, making them more relaxed, and ensuring that the patient’s balance improves. And the way he stands.

The inventor of the suit, Frederick Lundqvist, said: "When the suit is turned on, a number of electrodes are activated inside it to reach muscles that the brain cannot reach, due to his injury."

For her part, Sarah Jane, who has cerebral palsy, explained what happened to her after wearing the suit, saying: “I immediately felt comfortable, and there was no suffering from any difficulties in movement. The effect of the suit was immediate, and I could not believe that I was standing on my feet, as I did not Before that, I could never stand on my feet.”
