The town of Moulins (Allier) wishes to promote access to care for all its inhabitants.

For this, it has allowed them since 2018 to obtain municipal mutual insurance at an advantageous rate, reports

In January, the urban community of Moulins reached a new milestone.

It has joined forces with the “Just” mutual insurance company to now offer an intermunicipal mutual insurance company.

Thanks to this partnership, the inhabitants of the agglomeration can benefit from “more advantageous rates than with a contract signed individually”.

Members “can earn from 100 to 1,600 euros per year compared to their current contract, with the same guarantees, or even better”, assures the development manager at the mutual Just.

Since January, 450 inhabitants of the agglomeration have taken advantage of this offer.

Among these subscribers, 7% had no mutual insurance before.

About 60% of members are over 60, but there are also young people who no longer benefited from their parents' mutual insurance.

The condition for benefiting from this contract is to live in one of the 44 municipalities of the urban community or to work there.
