What is the secret of the Saidian "fan" who wrote a 170-page letter to Mufid Fawzi?

Many stories were reported by the media about the Egyptian journalist Moufid Fawzi, after his departure yesterday morning, at the age of 89, after a struggle with illness.

Among these stories are those related to Moufid Fawzi's private life and his wife and life partner, Amal Al-Omda, who the late spoke about in a previous television interview about the way he got to know her.

Moufid Fawzi revealed that she entered his heart through a letter he received from her, which consisted of 170 pages, in which he commented on a group of articles he had written in the press.

At a time when Amal Al-Omda was just a fresh university graduate working in a tourism company, and when Mufid Fawzi saw her at first, he thought, according to what he narrated, that she was Italian because of her height and tan, but he discovered that she was an Egyptian from Luxor.

The late also revealed the details of the letter he received from her, as he kept reading it with great focus, and found in it extraordinary details discussing every word he wrote in his articles, which made him comment in the end on that matter, saying, "I entered my heart from my head ... which is the love that I felt." He owns my soul."

Then he moved on to talk about his wife's extreme stubbornness, but he described her, saying, "She was stubborn and soft," as a good word always succeeds in melting her stubbornness, considering that good words distracted his wife's anger, and so the journey of life took place with them.

It is noteworthy that Mufid Fawzi married the late broadcaster Amal Al-Omda on May 1, 1968, and she was born in 1941 and died in March 2001 at the age of 60, and he gave birth to his daughter, writer and journalist Hanan Mufid Fawzi.
