A life-size "νGundam" installed in a large commercial facility in Fukuoka City is lit up with illuminations for a limited time only in winter.
The life-size "ν Gundam" is illuminated by a newly installed wooden object with a height of about 4 meters. It is lit with blue, white, etc. lights.
At the lighting ceremony, shoppers and fans gathered, and when the LED bulbs were lit all at once along with the signal, the base of the Gundam statue was colored with the light, and there was a big round of applause.
As soon as the ceremony was over, visitors were taking pictures in front of the statues and objects.
A high school student living in Fukuoka City said, "The illuminated Gundams are very beautiful. I like Gundam animations, so I'm grateful. I'm happy to see the scenery at night, which I can't usually see."
A man in his 30s from Gifu Prefecture said, "Gundam is science fiction, but I've liked it since I was little because it feels real. It's nice to be able to taste a life-size Gundam in a Christmas atmosphere."
The lighting of "ν Gundam" will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm until February 19th next year.
