The Marvel movie “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” continues to top the box office in North America for the fourth consecutive weekend, raking in $17.6 million, according to figures published by the specialized company, “Expert Relations”.

The work, which is a sequel to the smash hit 2018 movie "Black Panther" and pays homage to the star of the first part, Chadwick Boseman, has so far garnered 393.7 million in North America alone and 339 million in the rest of the world.

And second came the movie “Valent Knight”, in which “Stranger Things” star David Harbor plays the role of an angry Santa Claus who confronts a group of villains who storm the home of a wealthy family.

The Christmas-themed work earned $13.3 million, in “a strong start for a comedy action movie,” according to expert David Gross.

In third place was Disney's "Strange World," taking in just $4.9 million after a disappointing first weekend.

And since the film’s budget amounted to 180 million, the work may incur losses of more than 100 million dollars, according to the specialized “Hollywood Reporter” website.

And the horror-comedy movie “The Menu” ranked fourth, with revenues of $ 3.6 million.

And in fifth place, the movie “Devotion”, about the story of two fighter pilots belonging to the US Navy, took 2.8 million dollars.

As for the remaining five films in the week’s ranking, they are: “I Heard the Bells” ($1.8 million), “Black Adam” ($1.7 million), “The Fablemen” ($1.3 million), and “Bones and All.” ($ 1.2 million), and “Ticket to Paradise” ($ 850,000).
