The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) provides cultural and artistic activities at the Al Jalila Center for Child Culture, which hosts for two weeks the activities of its winter camp, aimed at enhancing the skills of young people and refining their creative talents, in order to achieve the goals of the authority and its endeavor to create a creative and sustainable environment for all kinds of arts.

The winter camp of the Al Jalila Center for Child Culture will appear under the slogan “Winter Camp for Young Creators”, in which young people will have a date with “cultural entertainment”, performing arts, painting, mosaics and other arts aimed at enriching children’s imaginations and refining their creative skills.

Different age groups, ranging from four to 12 years, are targeted by the winter camp, which starts on the 12th of this month, and its activities last for two weeks, during which children will be able to unleash their talents in poetry, theater, music, and learn the origins and arts of handicrafts.

For his part, Senior Director of the Special and Media Projects Department at Al-Jalila Center for Child Culture, Adel Omar, stressed the importance of encouraging the creative and artistic talents of children.

He said: “Dubai Culture, through the winter camp for young creators, is keen to invest the time of the participants, by providing them with cultural and recreational activities, programs and workshops dedicated to the arts, which contributes to refining the skills of young people, discovering their talents and developing them in a way that combines entertainment and education.” .

Omar pointed out that the winter camp reflects Dubai Culture's commitment to promoting the spirit of exploration and innovation among children.

He added, "The camps provide children with an opportunity that enables them to develop their imagination and develop their skills, in addition to investing their mental and physical abilities in learning and creativity, which enhances their self-confidence."

The winter camp of Al Jalila Center for Child Culture will open its doors to children between the ages of four and six years, to discover theater and different colors of music, in addition to mosaic arts, sand painting, soap making, and other handicrafts.

In addition to performing arts and music, the winter camp opens the eyes of children between the ages of seven and nine years to the arts of drawing with paints, at a time when they will have a date with a group of training workshops, in which they will discover the arts of terrazzo (making paintings from marble), the arts of candle making, and the basics of knitting. with an automatic pistol.
