Intermarché, Cora, Leclerc, Carrefour, Auchan, Casino… All these large retail chains are currently carrying out a massive recall of baby food jars.

These are organic purees of green beans and green beans/potatoes sold in stores throughout France, according to the sheets issued listed on the Rappel Conso site.

The reason: too high nitrate levels.

Return to store for reimbursement

The dates of marketing of the products - packaged in two 120 g jars under the distributors' organic brands - differ according to the stores.

They are between May and November 2022. Purees can normally be consumed until May 2023.

“Nitrates are naturally present in the environment and especially in vegetables.

This substance could present a health risk in the event of significant and repeated consumption”, is it written on one of the reminder sheets.

It is therefore recommended not to consume these products and to bring them back to the point of sale to be reimbursed.
