"Vanguard of the 20th century"

Creative space "Lumiere-Hall" (Moscow),

December 1, 2022 - February 28, 2023

The exhibition "Avant-garde of the 20th century" has opened in the capital's Lumiere Hall.

The name of this trend in world art comes from the French avant-garde - "vanguard".

In the 20th century, the avant-garde was associated with anarchy and utopia, the rejection of generally accepted norms and rules.

Therefore, the paintings of avant-garde artists are filled with rebelliousness, outrageousness, and to this day remain the cause of controversy among artists.

Visitors to the exhibition will be able to get acquainted with the work of representatives of this movement from Russia, Europe, Asia and the USA.

Among the paintings will be works by Salvador Dali, Juan Miro, Marc Chagall, Rene Magritte and lesser known artists.

In total, guests will see more than 50 lithographs.

Creative space "Lumiere-Hall" (Moscow),

December 1, 2022 - February 28, 2023

This mystical interactive exhibition is dedicated to the work of the outstanding Russian artist Nicholas Roerich: the exhibition features more than 100 of his works.

Most of them are made in ps-3D format, which allows the viewer to be almost inside the picture.

The public will be able to immerse themselves in the peaceful landscapes of the Altai and Himalaya mountains.

The exposition is accompanied by surround sound, which helps to penetrate deeper into the mood that the artist sought to convey.

Roerich became famous not only as a painter.

He was also a public figure, prepared the first international agreement on the protection of cultural property, worked as an editor in various publications, and wrote books.

In art, Roerich paid great attention to colors: he experimented with the composition of paints, superimposed one tone on another.

"The Phantasmagoria of Arcimboldo"

Center for Contemporary Art M'ARS (Moscow), December 1

 , 2022 - January 10, 2023

Those who wish can see the original and whimsical work of the Italian painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo at a multimedia exhibition organized by the Art Dynamics studio.

The uniqueness of the exposition is that each painting by the Renaissance artist is presented as a separate animated performance with sound.

Animated canvases will be projected onto thin grids barely visible to the eye.

Arcimboldo's works can be considered for a long time, especially close up, since the whole image on them is made up of a set of objects.

For example, the girl's face in the painting "Portrait of Eve" consists of images of children.

Moreover, all the details in the paintings were not chosen by the artist by chance: they are associated with a certain characteristic of the character, sometimes not entirely obvious.

Guests of the exhibition will be able to try to guess each of the ideas of the author of the paintings.

The exposition is located in two halls.

The organizers equipped another one for a master class: guests will be able to try themselves as an artist and create their own three-dimensional portrait in the style of Arcimboldo.

November 25, 2022 - May 14, 2023

The complex features more than 150 reproductions of works by the famous street art artist Banksy.

Viewers will see reproduced walls with graffiti, sculptures, paintings and large-scale installations with photo zones.

For example, among the exhibits there is a reproduction of the legendary "Girl with a Balloon".

Attached to this painting is a video explaining how the piece eventually became Trash Love and was later sold for $21.25 million.

In addition, the exhibition features three installations: Banksy's Studio, Barely Legal ("Almost Legal") with a life-sized elephant, and The Walled Off Hotel, which depicted in detail a boutique hotel in Bethlehem "with the worst view in the world", which was Designed by Banksy along with other artists.

The author won worldwide fame, but at the same time remained anonymous.

There is always a sense in his work: the artist's graffiti are addressed to acute problems, filled with satire and black humor.

Many of Banksy's works have been purchased and are in private collections or completely painted over.
