Pose drag queen Billy Porter was honored with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame on Thursday.

The 53-year-old stepped in front of the crowd in high platform shoes, in a floor-length, white outfit with huge puff sleeves.

He is proud and grateful to show on World AIDS Day what "black, queer and HIV positive" looks like today.

Last year, the American show star announced that he had been diagnosed with HIV since 2007.

Porter brought his husband and sister to the Hollywood celebration.

On the sidewalk, the Grammy, Emmy and Tony Award winner was honored with the 2741st star for his contributions to theater.

On the theater stage he took part in productions such as "Miss Saigon", "Angels in America" ​​or "Kinky Boots".

Porter often makes headlines with his extravagant outfits.
