In Val-de-Marne, you will have to sign a contract to receive the RSA

The Departmental Council of Val-de-Marne announced on Monday its new strategy concerning the support of recipients of the Active Solidarity Income (RSA).

In 2021, the RSA budget for the 44,000 beneficiaries reached 304 million euros for the community.

This year, the beneficiaries will have to sign a reciprocal commitment contract (CER).

RSA removed after four months without CER

In the event of non-signature of the CER, the beneficiary will see his allowance reduced or even eliminated.

The allowance may be reduced by 25% for two months or by 50% for two further months, if nothing changes.

After four months without a signature, the RSA will no longer be paid.

The benefit will only be reinstated if the recipient completes a new entitlement application and signs an CER.
