Justice authorized Wednesday Mediapart to publish an investigation promising new revelations on Gaël Perdriau, retracting a first order preventing the online media from publishing this article on the mayor of Saint-Etienne, mired in a case of alleged blackmail.

"Justice retracts the order which prohibited us from publishing our investigation into the political methods of Gaël Perdriau", tweeted the media which broadcast the article in stride "after 12 days of censorship".

I never imagined that an elected representative of the Republic could fall into such indignity.

Even if the person concerned was led to admit his abject lie, I seized the judicial authority and lodged a complaint for defamation against Mr. Perdriau.
