Last year, more than a million visitors attended the light and sound show which was projected every evening in December on the facade of the basilica of Fourvière, in Lyon.

This year, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, which finances the project, and the Notre-Dame de Fourvière site are back in action.

The majestic building will once again become the scene of a breathtaking spectacle, on the sidelines of the Festival of Lights.

The Allumeurs de Rêves company was entrusted with its realization.

The history of Lyon retraced in twenty minutes

"From the ancient remains of Lugdunum to the construction of the building in 1872, passing through the wish of the Aldermen of 1643 and the birth of December 8, the work will return to the rich history of the city of Lyon", announce the organizers .

The show will be screened every twenty minutes.

But beware, you will only be able to discover it at certain times: during the Festival of Lights from December 8 to 11 until 11.45 p.m. - with the exception of Sunday when the last performance will be given at 9.45 p.m. -, then during the Christmas, from December 26 to January 1 (6:45 p.m. - 9:45 p.m.).
