At the Intergovernmental Committee of the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage held in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, the registration of Korean mask dance was decided.



In addition to the social function and cultural significance of talchum, the ongoing efforts to prevent excessive commercialization have been evaluated.



Talchum is a madangnori where performers and audiences mingle together, and it is a comprehensive art that encompasses elements of dance, music, and theater.
